Turn it off and do NOT charge it — powering a wet device is what causes most permanent damage. Don't put it in rice (it does nothing and pushes debris in). Dry the outside, leave it off, and bring it to us as soon as possible. The sooner we clean the board, the better the chance of full recovery.

Often, yes. Water damage is one of our specialties — we open the device, clean corrosion off the logic board under a microscope, and repair or replace damaged components. Even when a device can't be revived, we can usually recover your photos and data.

Our priority is saving your data. In many cases we restore the device fully. If it's beyond repair, we attempt data recovery to rescue your photos, contacts and files from the storage chip.

Diagnosis is free. The repair cost depends on what the liquid has damaged — sometimes it's just a clean and a part, sometimes board-level microsoldering. We always quote you before doing any chargeable work.

Water damage repairs typically take longer than a screen swap because the board needs careful cleaning and testing — usually a few days. We'll give you a realistic timeframe after the free diagnosis.
